The North Idaho Weekend: What Would Your Life Actually Look Like?

When you're shopping for a home, it's easy to focus on square footage.
But here's a better question:

What would your Saturday look like if you lived here?

8:00 AM — Coffee

Start downtown in Coeur d'Alene.Grab a coffee and take a walk before the day gets busy.

9:30 AM — Hit the Trail

You don't have to drive hours to find a great hike.
Tubbs Hill sits right near downtown and offers a scenic trail along Lake Coeur d'Alene. Mineral Ridge provides another option with views over the lake.

12:30 PM — Lunch

Head back toward town for lunch. One of the advantages of Coeur d'Alene is that outdoor recreation and restaurants aren't completely separate worlds.

2:00 PM — Lake Time

Depending on the season, the afternoon might mean boating, swimming, paddleboarding or simply relaxing near the water.

Lake Coeur d'Alene stretches for more than 26 miles and has extensive shoreline, parks and recreation opportunities.

5:00 PM — Explore a Different Town

Take a drive toward Post Falls, Hayden or another nearby community.

This is especially useful if you're considering buying.

You may discover that you love the lifestyle but prefer a different neighborhood.

8:00 PM — Sunset

End the day outside.

And that's really the point.

When you're choosing a home, you're choosing more than a house.

You're choosing where your weekends happen.
